Field Trips

Field Trips

At Whitefield Academy, field trips are an integral part of our curriculum.  All of our field trips are carefully chosen to have curricular significance for our students.  These outside the class learning experiences are a fun way to shed new light on subjects that our students are learning.

Chaperoning field trips is one of our parents’ favorite ways to be involved at school. Some favorite trips in the past have included Deanna Rose Farmstead, Kaleidoscope, Pumpkin and Apple Picking, the Coterie Theatre, gardening at Colonial Presbyterian’s garden, the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, Bichelmeyer Meats, Crown Center, WWI museum, and the capitol in Topeka.
