Our Student Honor Code
Whitefield Academy is a learning and worshipping community where the love of learning and desire of God are united. I pledge cheerfully to abide by the policies of the school and to have as a rule of thought, conduct, and conversation a desire to engage in those things that are true, good, and beautiful.
Our City
Whitefield Academy is uniquely situated in Kansas City, MO right on the state line. As the premiere classical Christian school in Kansas City, we draw families from 56 different zip codes in both Kansas and Missouri and over 60 churches. Whitefield sits just outside the urban center of the city, making downtown’s Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art just as easily accessible for field trips as rural Johnson Family Farms. Some of our families’ favorite attractions about Kansas City are the historical sites such as the National World War I Museum, the Mahaffie Stagecoach-Stop Farm, Union Station, and the Arabia Steamboat Museum. During the summers, Whitefield families are sure to be seen at Kauffman Stadium cheering on the Royals, and in January, every Friday is Red Friday for our beloved Chiefs. Kansas City is known for being a really big small town; it has all the perks of a big city like the symphony, the opera, the museums, and the sports, but it has the small town feel of running into someone you know everywhere you go.
Whitefield Community
Pray With Us
- For our school, as we seek the Lord’s will for our leadership; trusting in His providence and wisdom rather than in the skill of any human leader
- For our board, search committee, administration, faculty, and staff, that they would be strengthened during this time of transition and that they would rely on the Lord’s wisdom for guidance
- For candidates, that the Lord would guide them to schools where their gifts may be used in His service most effectively, and that they would lead those schools with excellence, humility, and love for the families, faculty, and staff in their charge
