Our Fine Arts program is a destination for every Whitefield student on their way to graduation.
Intentional training in these disciplines is not merely “extra.” It serves to better prepare our students to see and understand the beauty of God’s creation and to express their own ideas in creative ways.
Whitefield has a strong tradition of teaching and practicing sacred music, psalms and hymns, often sung in Latin and other foreign languages. Grammar School students experience the foundations of musical literacy through weekly choral sessions, while Upper School students participate in a variety of musical ensembles.
Each year the annual Christmas concert brings the student body together in the spirit of song.
One of our select ensembles for upper elementary and middle school aged students is the vocal and recorder Chorus Musicorum for 4th-8th graders.
